The Issue
For over 25 years, the EFSP has been successfully working to keep
families from homelessness and hunger. The need for the program has
grown in recent years due to the economic downturn facing the entire
country.
Thanks
to your outreach, and the support of your elected officials, members of
the House Appropriations Subcommittee on Homeland Security have decided
to maintain EFSP funding at its currently level of $200 million.

Contact your federal legislators and thank them for their continued
support as the budget moves through the full Appropriations Committee.
