Your To Do List: Volunteer

Each one of us has the capacity to make a big difference in someone's life. Rather than focus on changing the world, let's focus on changing someone's world. Together, we can build a movement across America that inspires hope and create opportunities for a better life for everyone.

Here are five ways that you can LIVE UNITED just by doing the things you already do or by taking action without leaving your home.

1. Start an awareness campaign about early childhood education at your school or in your neighborhood. Chances are there are people out there who don’t know much about the importance of early childhood education or its affects. Make some catchy flyers so they can be in the know and learn how they can make a difference too. Click here for some facts to get you started.

2. Next time you go to the bank, ask your bank if they offer free checking and savings accounts to low-income families and encourage them to start if they don’t.

3. Share your story: Tell us how you LIVE UNITED.

4. Sign up for Alternative Spring Break 2009.
