Hello everyone! Welcome to the United 10 group! We are so excited to have you here!
As you may know, United 10 volunteers are active and influential members of our advocacy team. United 10 volunteers help us by engaging elected officials and community members in policy issues that are important to them. For example: a United 10 volunteer might send emails and make phone calls in order to rally support around a public policy initiative. The grassroots work you do is crucial to building public and political will for financial stability, educational preparedness, and the access to basic needs!
We are extremely excited that you have volunteered to be part of this movement! We are even more excited to see the United 10 grow - ideally we will have a United 10 group for each House and Senate district in Michigan. This will take a lot of work, and we have a lot of ground to cover, but it is possible.
Please feel free to contact me at any time if you have a question or suggestion about advocacy issues or opportunites at UWSEM. I am looking forward to working with all of you!
Thank you again! Check back here for updates.
