Subject: HOPEWELL MISSIONARY BAPTIST CHURCH Attention: Manager Dear Ser or Madam The economic condition in the Pontiac area has prompted the Mission Ministry of the Hopewell Baptist Church, in partnership with Quest to Make a Change, to help our indigent citizens who are now living in shelters by providing them with some of their basic needs. Our goal is to feed sixty families and distribute the personal needs items on Sunday, November 15 2009. We need your help in meeting our goal; therefore, we are soliciting donations from area businesses. The list of items requested is attached. If your businesses are able to assist us in donating to a worthy project, we would greatly appreciate it. All donations would be recognized as donated from your establishment at the dinner. In order to meet our distribution date, we are requesting that donations be made on or before Saturday, October 31, 2009. Please be assured that all donations will be used for the sole purpose and benefit of participating homeless in the area. This letter and our thank you letter indicating your donations will be sufficient documentation of your donations for tax purposes.
