I'm gonna tell you a story. I have a mouse problem in my house. I don't know where they're coming from, but they're there, and they eat my food and gross me out. I set out traps, and once in a while a mouse will fall at my hands, but it doesn't solve the problem. Now I'm in the process of hiring an exterminator who hopefully come equipt with a device similar to a Ghostbusters proton pack to get rid of the mice, and fix the reason they're coming in in the first place. United Way for Southeastern Michigan is like that. We're the exterminators. We've got 3 proton packs - basic needs, income, and education, and we're ready to unleash the force on the need - aka "the mice". We're not going to just fix the symptoms, we're going to address the whole system. But to keep our proton packs running, we need your financial support.
