Wayne Metro: Live Smart Workshops Admin Volunteer


Wayne Metropolitan Community Action Agency’s mission is to empower people and strengthen communities throughout Wayne County. Volunteers are needed to assist in the assembly of Energy Kits and Financial Kits, populate sign-in sheets from client list, complete certifications of completion and help with data input and miscellaneous administrative duties as needed. Having basic Microsoft Office and computer skills are required. This volunteer opportunity is for individuals and can be completed on an ongoing basis.

Volunteers are needed on Mondays from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. and/or Tuesdays from 9:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. at 7310 Woodward Ave., Suite 800, Detroit.

Volunteer Requirements:

  • Wayne Metro volunteer application and orientation
  • Criminal background check
  • High School Diploma or GED
