Wayne Metro: Robotics Mentor

 

Wayne Metropolitan Community Action Agency’s mission is to empower people and strengthen communities throughout Wayne County. Volunteers are needed to give a lending hand in building a robot with the students at Lincoln Park High School and/or help the club seek donations and plan fundraising events. Volunteers must have a certification or degree with on-the-job experience in the electrical, engineering or mechanical fields to assist with building the robot and sharing their profession with students. Attire is casual. This volunteer opportunity is for individuals and/or groups and can be completed on a one-time or ongoing basis.

Volunteers are needed Monday through Friday from 2:40 to 5:30 p.m. at Lincoln Park High School (1701 Champaign Rd., Lincoln Park).
